Whenever I need a bit of quiet, these are just a few great books to sit down and relax with. They help me to slow down and be in the moment. My anxiety and impatience melt away, and I am able to enjoy what is right in front of me.
Here are the titles:
Quiet Mind by David Kundtz
Small Graces by Kent Nerburn
Ramona and Her Mother by Beverly Cleary (Ramona Quimby, Age 8 is my other favorite)
Shelter for the Spirit by Victoria Moran
A Year of Mornings by Maria Alexandra Vettese and Stephanie Congdon Barnes
Joie de Vivre by Robert Arbor
Library Lion by Michelle Knudsen
A Quiet Place by Douglas Wood

It's so cool to get a peek at what you are reading. :) Library Lion, Quiet Mind, Small graces, and A Quiet Place are particularly appealing titles.... And I remember Beverly Cleary well. :)
